History
Tuff Gong International is a member of the Bob Marley
Group of Companies. It was originally situated at Orange
Street, Downtown, Kingston before moving to the infamous
56 Hope Road. After the passing of our founder, the Hon.
Robert Nesta Marley, O.M. in 1981, his wife, Mrs. Rita
Marley relocated the company to 220 Marcus Garvey Drive
later that year.
Today the property houses the Recording Studio, Gong
Mastering, Music Manufacturers and the Tuff Gong Record
Shop. In addition, the Rita Marley Foundation and the
Rehearsal Studio were added in 2003.
